My Launch Party

It all starts with a goal and the grand opening of your business! Typically your launch party will be held at your home or a nearby friends or relatives home. As for my launch party I choose a nice casual restaurant. My apartment is too small to invite many guests, my friends live an hour away and my family is in another state. To make it easier on everyone I drove up to the location where we had the most friends to have my launch party.

At your launch party you want to take the opportunity to not only share Scentsy but to book other parties and talk about the Scentsy opportunity. I was way too nervous to remember all that and barely made it through the education on what Scentsy is. So here are my suggestions on having a successful launch party.

Create your initial contact list - you'll be surprised just how many people you know. Think outside of the box of just friends and family. Think co-workers, neighbors, acquaintances from your children’s school, activities and even the people you do business with on a daily basis.

Scentsy recommends scheduling your launch party immediately following the arrival of your starter kit. This is because they have outlined easily attainable goals and they do this so you can see how easy it is to have a party that retails at $500.00

Invite your guest in person, email, phone, evite, printed invitations. I even created social networking events to spread the word. Follow up is important and a simple phone call adds a personal touch.

OVER INVITE!

Watch the Sensational start DVD and get familiar with everything in your kit. Including the catalogue and prices especially page 6 where the combine and save packages are.

Create a short presentation and I highly recommend watching “Megan Sommer – perfect parties – booking bag demo 2011 on YouTube. (I will post video/link following this post)

Design a simply display, utilize the Scentsy forum on your workstation. Our Scentsy family has some amazing ideas.

Utilize your scentsy sponsor, I have great tips and resources that I share with my team.

Pre-select dates you are available for the next 30 days so you can book parties and keep your calendar booked.

Have catalogues and business cards a plenty to hand out and share with everyone you meet.

  1. These are great tips! Launching a business can be overwhelming. But following a guideline is definitely helpful for planning. This will ensure the success of the event as you have a roadmap in your hands. Anyway, you scored on your chosen place! It's a smart move to choose a venue that's more convenient for your guest, location-wise. I hope you all enjoyed the shindig and good luck on your business!

  2. I arranged a lunch party at one of LA venues. Had invited all my dear ones. The delicious food was prepared by best catering service. I loved yummy food and very happy with their service. Going to hire them for my future events too.
